Financial Status Update

Our chapter remains financially healthy, ensuring we can continue providing valuable resources and opportunities for our members. As reflected in our Profit & Loss Statement, the majority of our revenue is generated from our Educational Classes, followed by Membership Dues and Program Registration Fees.

Our largest expenses are associated with hosting in-person meetings, which are a vital part of our chapter’s engagement and networking efforts. We appreciate your continued support and participation, which allows us to maintain a strong financial foundation and invest in programs that benefit our members.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact our Treasurer, Kathy Cardinal, CPP at [email protected].

Topic: The Art of Mentoring

The practice of advising and training someone less experienced is as old as time itself. Today, we call it mentoring, and mentoring can, and will, look differently depending on the circumstances, needs, and visions of those involved. This interactive session will reveal the who, what, where, when, why and how of mentoring and look at some good, and not so good, examples of mentoring. We’ll also discuss why mentoring is as important today as it ever was.

Speaker: Jackie Carroll, CPP

Jackie Carroll has been active on the local level serving the Dallas Chapter as Membership Director, Co-Vice President, President Elect, President, and Program Director. She has also served on numerous committees. Jackie has taught payroll classes sponsored by the Dallas Chapter and has presented at their Personal Improvement Events and educational meetings. She was honored as the Chapter’s Payroll Professional of the Year in 2008 and received the Meritorious Service Award in 2010.
